We have a broken DECStation 3100 that refuses to reboot. I do not know
how the problem started, but today the machine couldn't do xwindow logins,
only console. So I rebooted it. However, the power-up check couldn't
find SCSI 3, and hence the entire machine is DEAD. Please come and
fix it.

Problem: On reboot, here are the symptoms:
KNO1 V7.03
7..6..5..4..
?? <-- remains flashing
I hit control C and then typed:
>>boot
The disk makes a noise like it is spinning up after the machine
says that bit about booting from rz(0,3,0)vmunix, and then these
errors occur:
Excptn: <vtr=NRML>
Excptn pc: 0x806000024
Creg: 0x3000000c<CE=3,EXC=WMISS>
Sreg: 0x30080000<CU1,CU0,CM,IPL=8>
blah blah blah.....
Thanks!
