Subject: Reloading the software system on the VAXstation 3100 M38,
"squeteague", after the bad disk has been replaced.
I have talked to both of the other people that have been involved with
the athena workstations at WHOI and neither has any knowledge of ever
having a "boot floppy" needed to reload the software system. In fact,
both said that "you" have always been able to do whatever you have needed
over the network. So, I guess, we haven't got a copy of the "boot floppy"
you mentioned on the phone this morning. Where do we go from here? Will
you be sending a floppy down with instructions?
