 Machine: avanti (VS3100)
 Location: 8-109
 Contact: Terra, 3-4867
 Problem: they had to power down the machine because work was being
          done in the office. When they turned it back on, it was
        halted. I talked them through FSCK on the phone, but it
        still won't boot. Reports No Hesiod. 
           May need a check of cables or new ethernet cables.
