I would like to report two problems with Athena machines. They are
both private Athena machines. I have checked with our cluster
manager, Sheila Frankel, and she asked me to write you about the
problems.
1. The operating system on this machine seems to have serious problems.
For example: the machine refuses to run Fortran programs (which work
perfectly well on other machines); windows often crash with "Segmentation
violations" or "Memory Fault"; you can't start an xterm from an existing
shell. This is a pretty serious problem.
Machine name: mull.mit.edu
Machine Location: 48-205
Machine Type: DecStation 3100
Serial Number: AB90701TTU

2. The monitor on this machine needs adjusting. The display image
created is both too large for the window (I can't see "dash" or
the "logout" button) and offset to the right (there is lots of blank
space on the left of the screen and the windows leak off to the right).
