I am going to connect a digital VT100 terminal with a modem and dial up Athena.
I connected all the cables as the manual of the modem says.
But the terminal would not respond to any keystroke except the set-up key.
I set up baud-rate, parity, etc. by using the setup key. It was set-up right.
But then any other key can make any response from the terminal.
Unfortunately, I do not have a manual for the terminal. As you guessed, the
terminal is very old, and I could not find the manual.
Could you help me out on this, please ?
