At 8:00 AM this morning I was passing 2-225, and noticed that the door
could not be shut. The top hinge-post of the door had been removed,
so that the door sagged on the two remaining hinges. I obtained help,
put the door back on its top hinge and reinserted the post; the door
now closes normally.

As far as I could see, no equipment had been taken.

Damaged paint around the top hinge indicated that someone had gone to some
trouble to remove the hinge-post.

Campus police should be notified. (I haven't done this.)

There was a girl student in the room at the time, but I didn't speak to her.
