Hi! Christina found a posting on both doors of 11-113 and 11-116
  which reads:

  "Can't find a terminal?

Try the new cluster in room 8-113. ***Sorry, men only."

I thought you might want to know that these were posted. I don't know
how wide-spread the postings are (only say the one on the cluster in
  11) . According to hostfind, though, it looks like there are two
  machines in 8-113J:

  [ 8:57am] [~] pickle-pebble% findhost 8-113
  Using hostfile: /afs/net.mit.edu/admin/hosts/hosts

  18.74.0.179 m8-113j-rep-1.mit.edu m8-113j-rep-1 rep-e110
  18.74.1.77 m8-113j-rep-2.mit.edu m8-113j-rep-2 rep-es01

I'm assuming this is a bogus posting. Do you know anything about this?

By the way, we took down the two posting on the doors.

Just to alay anyone's worries... it's a hack. I haven't had a chance
to look at it yet, but from what I've heard, it sounds like it was
reasonably well done. Some people managed to get a couple vt100's set
up in the men's bathroom in building 8, allowing you to experience the
Athena Dialup Pool in the privacy or your own, err... :-) I hope, at
least, that people have the decency to use Dialup Express. Once you
think about it, you realize that it's actually kind of visionary..
Sort of the next phase of ResNet. :-)

(please remove cfyi and hotline from any replies. Better yet, don't
reply. I wouldn't have blathered this much if I'd been less tired. :)
