i notice that on weekends, starting on some friday evenings,
the barco projector in 1-115 has evidently been played-with
sometime during the preceeding week.

three times now our group or classes have come in and found
that the vertical hold has been adjusted hard-over to it's
stop. no amount of warm-up will stabilise the flipping, and
it requires that we have one (1) at least 6'4" tall, or taller,
person in the class who can reach the control to sync things.

this costs us a good few extra minutes each time it has happened,
and the roll-rate is not "good" for all to be subjected-to.

i'm not sure what can be done about this.

less of a hassle, but indicative of a hardware problem, is the
extreme pincusioning upon only _some_ start-ups of the barco.

this weekend we had to turn the barco off for five minutes,
and re-start, re-warm-it-up, twice, to get the screen square.

aging capacitors? temp (ambient) is probably right-up-there,
up there near the ceiling. i don't think the barco has any fan.
