I have received a call that the only VS3100 in 3-470 was down (pl3-470-2).
I have investigated the situation and have found a loose ethernet connection
on back of the cpu, as well as the main ethernet feed hanging off of the
MT800 ethernet transceiver. I have corrected these problems and the system
is still down. I have also taken the MT800 out of the loop, and hooked up main
ethernet feed to the system (no go). Have run system tests, loop back etc...
on the system in question. All o.k. I do not know where the other end of the
feed for 3-470 resides. Steve, I assume that you are doing some work in
3-462 & 3-470. A user told me that there were some name changes and that a
few workstations in 3-462 can not be used. Steve, can you tell me anything
about 3-470?
