Hi, a customer (at the MCC) is interested in purchasing an Athena
workstation, but also desires a machine with the number crunching horsepower
he needs. We only list certain workstations and configurations as possible
Athena workstations. Are higher-end variants supported also by chance?
Then ones we have listed:
IBM Powerstation 220
Personal DECstation 5000/25
DECstation 5000/133
Sun SparcClassic
I have seen IBM Powerstation 320 and 320H in Athena clusters, but don't
know why these aren't listed. The customer would like to purchase either
a Powerstation 320 (or higher) or a Sparcstation 10 (running Solaris). This
would be a department purchase rather than personal. Can he get either
of those Athenized?
