Sometime today, while I was logged into several E40 machines from the
SIPB office, prometheus started logging the un0 timeout messages.
Dave was good enough to go in and move some cables around so that we
could do some testing. When prometheus is connected to the DELNI in
my office, the errors reported are fewer, but they aren't prevented;
the machine is mostly usable. When it's connected to the drop from
the ceiling, the network errors are sufficient to make it unusable.
Jack's RT works fine when connected either way, and my other
workstations on the DELNI have reported no problems.
Can you have someone come by Tuesday and run diagnostics and/or
replace the board?
