Please don't do this otherwise you lose Appleshare on guilder used for
Mailedit service. In the current version of Unix kernel on guilder, I
turned Ultrix packet filter flag ON. You may ask the IS person how to
tun on this flag in the latest version of the kernel, but still you
should not turn AUTOUPDATE true. I suspect most of recent updates to
the Athena software is not necessary to maintain Mailedit service.

I restarted Mailedit service and it is up and running. How to start
the service is described in the instruction I gave to Steve and Chris.
