Hi, a decstation 3100 named Scharoun needs to be moved from its location in
N52-471b to building 9-522. This move is across subnets, of course, so its
address will need to be changed.
The machine's principal user wants to keep the name "scharoun", and is willing
to have the machine turned off during the time between when the old scharoun
vanishes from the network and the new one appears.
For some reason I had already asked the network help desk people for an address
change, but Namomi reminded me correctly that I should coordinate moves via you
folks. You folks also have the trucks, of course, that will move the equipment.
Heh heh.
So, please consider this a request to get this all rolling. If you need
information of any kind, please let me know.
