The above workstation seems to be lacking a hesiod server.
I encountered problems with it this morning when I tried to log in
and could not attach my home directory, which I assumed was due to a downed
server. I stayed on, and tried to use attach, but it would not do anything:
when I called it it immediately bounced back to the shell without indicating
a successful or unsuccessful attach. I asked olc and they suggest that
the station may lack a hesiod server, causing it to not resolve names and
thus not attach anything.
