Reason:
We request a bldg 46-2201u/m med/low pressure steam shutdown from 6 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 for Enterprise Equip0ment Co to remove a check valve, install a gate valve, and add a trap on the condensate returns from the new clean steam generator as part of the bldg 46 new clean steam generator project by Acella Construction (Rob Lorscheider 781-727-8835). Affected are the clean steam generators and steam to the bldg's lab process hot water heaters. Gerhard Sinani 4-1705 and Thanh Nguyen 4-6911 are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of medium and low pressure steam and hot lab process water for the duration of the shutdown.
