Actually, front line support for Athena is done in CSS but at Athena
Consulting (3-4435) and not at the Microcomputer Help Line (3-0001).
Front line support for EREQ is done at Purchasing's EREQ Hotline
(3-4034). I may have this wrong but I think this is consistant with
the IS dialup support policy. The bug-cpt, bug-dialup, and maybe now
the bug-modem-pool mailing lists are secondary in that the users
should not have go there directly for assistance. CPT users should go
to Athena or EREQ where their problems will be tracked until
resolution - even though the actual fix may come from MITnet
operations, Athena operations, Telecom, or elsewhere.
I hope that clarifies things. Do you want to announce the creation of
the list or do you want me to take are of that? I get the feeling we
are getting dangerously close to getting into another major discussion
of IS dialup support and multiple help desks!
