Building(s): 32
Room(s): All
System: Fire Alarm and *Live Audible Testing
Duration: 6 Hours/10 Hours
Reason:
We request bldg 32 fire alarm shutdowns on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 24th, 25th and 26th, 2016 as follows;

from 10 AM to 4 PM on Thurs 3/24 (follows 4-glass shop) and from 6 AM to 4 PM on Fri 3/25 for Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799)/JME to add a speaker circuit and a strobe circuit to the bsmt fire alarm node and to install processor chips to upgrade five other nodes in order to increase the bldg's fire alarm traffic flow. And, also - (w/Schneider Electric/JM Electric) to tie-in, program and test a new P1 CO gas detection system. We will conduct some intermittent *live testing of the bldg 32 fire alarm system between 6 and 7:30 AM on Friday 3/25*;

and from 6 AM to 4 PM on Sat 3/26 to conduct *live audible NFPA required 1st party testing of the bldg 32 fire alarm system between 6 AM and 9 AM and then 12 noon to 4 PM* in order to 100% test the bsmt node, gas detection system and 10% test the five upgraded nodes

all as part of the 32-P1 CSG Offices build-out project. Silas Keenan 4-7230 is the MIT project manager.

Note, the fire alarm system works thru all this (in case of an actual emergency).

Effect:
Loss of fire alarms and *live audible testing for the duration of the shutdown.
