Dear all, the bldg 32 fire alarm shutdown for Monday, March 14th is cancell=
ed. Tuesday's 3/15 bldg 32 shutdown will run between 6 AM and 2 PM for the =
installation of the circuit cards, associated upgraded traffic support chip=
s and their programming by Simplex - and, Wednesday shutdown remains the sa=
me *live test between 6 and 7 AM*. Thursday is added for *live audible 3rd =
party testing between 6 and 7 AM. My apologies, Simplex is urgently needed=
for a repair in bldg E51 and the CSG is awaiting some other fire alarm par=
ts that are supposed to be installed with the new speaker and strobe circui=
t cards. Both the shutdown form and work order 5402062 have been modified t=
o reflect the new schedule, Billy H 8-0432

We request fire alarm shutdowns bldg 32 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, M=
arch 14th, 15th and 16th, 2016 as follows: from 6 AM to 2 PM on Mon 3/14 =
for Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to install and program speaker and s=
trobe circuit cards in the bsmt fire alarm node to accommodate new office s=
pace being built on the P1 level; from 6 AM to 7 AM on Tues 3/15 for MIT/Si=
mplex to conduct *live audible 1st party acceptance testing of the bldg 32 =
fire alarm system* in order to test the cards and their programming*; and t=
entatively from 6 AM to 7 AM on Wed 3/16 to conduct *live audible 3rd party=
testing of the bldg 32 fire alarm system* if necessary at this time and as=
of part the Facilities CSG Office build-out project. Silas Keenan (4-7230=
) is the MIT project manager on behalf of Billy Homeyer.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible test=
