The following fire alarm shutdown and *live audible testing request for Bldg. 32 - All, on Monday, March 14, 2016, 6:00am - 2:00pm, with *live audible testing on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 15 and 16, 2016, 6:00am - 7:00am, is for your information and response. Reason:
We request fire alarm shutdowns bldg 32 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 14th, 15th and 16th, 2016 as follows: from 6 AM to 2 PM on Mon 3/14 for Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to install and program speaker and strobe circuit cards in the bsmt fire alarm node to accommodate new office space being built on the P1 level; from 6 AM to 7 AM on Tues 3/15 for MIT/Simplex to conduct *live audible 1st party acceptance testing of the bldg 32 fire alarm system* in order to test the cards and their programming*; and tentatively from 6 AM to 7 AM on Wed 3/16 to conduct *live audible 3rd party testing of the bldg 32 fire alarm system* if necessary at this time and as of part the Facilities CSG Office build-out project. Silas Keenan (4-7230) is the MIT project manager on behalf of Billy Homeyer.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *live audible testing for the times indicated.
