Hello Scott,

I can understand your desire to not have a service disruption so soon. However, our intention with this shutdown is to help prevent any further issues with the system before they happen. The thought was that, while the system was down recently, it would not make sense address the maintenance on the strainers since they would quickly be fouled again due to the city water we were using in the system in the interim. Now that repairs have been made it would make sense to address these systematically. We intend do the strainers in the chases one at a time. There are three strainers per floor(one in each chase) and each strainer should take about 2 hours to complete. We are only shutting down one strainer at a time and we will only be performing work on one floor at a time. I hope I have addressed your concerns. If there is any additional information you feel is necessary, I will do my best to provide it.

Thank You,

Michael Welter

No, the system was down for four days last week.
