I'm glad to see that you had thought out the modem pool issues more 
than I had realized!  I totally agree with your concern that modem 
pool problems were not being addressed or tracked.  We have a 
mechanism within Telecom for tracking telephone problems (the 
Telecomm Help Desk at 3-HELP), but it has has NOT been used 
previously for addressing or tracking modem problems.  I'd like to 
begin doing so immediately (as soon as I can get into moira to change 
the list!)

The list of groups that support CPT users looks almost complete.  But 
does the Microcomputer Help Line (3-0001) cover any aspects of Athena 
dialup support (such as modem support, for example)?  If so, maybe 
they should be added to the list.

Thanks for the up-front work on the mailing list.  I guess I was just 
another one to whom the information wasn't previously available!
