The machine M66-080-18 has effectively fallen off the net.
I saw it with a "dead" sign next to it and it was sitting frozen in
the middle of the boot sequence, and I decided to try and reboot it.
I had to hit ^C while it was trying to set the time, and it timed
out on an AFS connection, but then it booted OK and I was able to
login. I read my email OK, then commands started to freeze up, then
my console got all kinds of messages to the effect of losing contact
with various AFS serers in sipb and athena, then all kinds of simple
commands (like anything in /usr/athena/bin) would fail. Then it
completely wedged, and I was unable to do anything. Finally I got
back a prompt, and tried to logout but was unable to do so, so I
rebooted the machine. So it seems that it works a little, but it's
extremely flakey. Let me know if there's any other info you need.
