rgul,
All w20 printers are being hosed up by your 17 Megabyte file :
ARBOR-EATER.MIT.EDU... python is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
active rgul 9 (standard input) 17090235 bytes
PAPER-PUSHER.MIT.EDU... ajax is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
active rgul 10 (standard input) 17090235 bytes
TREE-KILLER.MIT.EDU... ceres is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
active rgul 7 (standard input) 17379900 bytes
PAPER-PUSHER.MIT.EDU... pulp is ready and printing
Rank Owner Job Files Total Size
active rgul 8 (standard input) 17379900 bytes
And you logged out yourself. This is a very selfish behavior no matter you
actually want your printout or you started them by mistake and didn't know
how to stop it. If it's the latter, couldn't you use "olh" or "olc
answers" to find out how to remove your HUGE file from the print queue
before you log out? The right command is just
"lprm -P<printer> <job number>" where <job number> is just the number you
could get from "lpq -P<printer>".
