Everything has now been moved off chickadee, but before we have Kevin
come in and work on the disk, we're going to try to come up with a
way of dealing with something like this if it happens again. (Basically,
we need to leave the system in its current bad state, to see what we
need to do!) Craig is going to look into why we weren't able to 'dd' stuff
from the bad disk to the good one, and maybe modify dd so we'll be able
to use it in the future when we have a "hole" on an RS6000 disk.

PS At this point, we'll probably want Kevein to come in sometime next week.
