I don't know if this should be sent to ops instead but...
Rob and I are setting up Renoir to replace the aging ibm rt
fileservers. I've done a "mkserv ops" and "mkserv nfs" on
this machine. I don't know if a "mkserv ops" is still necessary but
I was told to do it to pelli way back when. Anyway we need help
with the following:
===> Remember to get a srvtab with a 'rvdsrv.' key
===> Remember to set up a credentials file in //var/usr/etc
===> Remember to arrange the appropriate Moira entries for NFS service.
===> Please make sure NFSSRV is set to an appropriate number in
/etc/athena/rc.conf
We would also like some info on implementing quotas on partitions:
===> Remember to edit /etc/fstab and /etc/qotab.
===> Remember to create a "quotas" file on each quota-controlled
partition.
We haven't decided what lockers will be on this machine yet. But
we can figure it out soon if you need it.
