The report was wrong:

tisiphone% hes hoch cluster
syslib e40-dmusys
tisiphone% attach -m /mnt e40-dmusys
attach: /afs/testers.athena.mit.edu/system/@sys/srvd linked to /mnt for filesystem e40-dmusys

However, hoch doesn't respond to ping, and won't get hesinfo when it
looks for it.  ("No Hesiod information available" almost always means
that the network connection is broken.)  The other system on the same
thinwire, m7-012-p, is on the net, so the problem must be right at the
back of Hoch or inside Hoch.
