Sophocles is still sick. Last Friday, I found it with the screen
blank and the LEDs rapidly changing. After I power-cyled it, the
machine worked fine until Sunday night, when I found it with hard disk
errors scrolling across the screen, just as before IBM worked on it.
If the controller was replaced, disk zero is the next suspect. I'm
pretty sure I already re-formatted all the disks, and ran diags on
them (120 passes).
BTW, I can communicate with the rvdsrv and timed processes, but not to
inetd. My guess is that the system lost disk zero. (It was
complaining about problems with hd0a.)
