Reason:
We request a bldg 38-partial chilled water shutdown from 4 AM to 8 AM on Tuesday morning, August 20th, 2013 for AHC Mechanical (Al Cairns 781-844-7817) to tie-in new fan coil unit service for the 5th floor from a main chilled water riser as part of the 5th floor CyPress Design Eng Studio project by Acella Construction (Marcilio Silva 781-733-1248). Nicole Pisani 5-5157 and Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 are the MIT project managers.
AH1-bsmt, AH2-fls 1-6 north, AH3-fls 1-6 south, AH4-MBE Lab are not affected however 38-301 and any other equipment cooling will be affected. Bldg 38 fan coil units will also not be cooling during the shutdown. AH1, 2, 3 provide the overhead cooling from the diffusers in the ceilings.
Effect:
Loss of chilled water and supply cooling for the duration of this shutdown.
