Do you notice that a whole bunch of Dec 133's at w20 are set up so that the
computer main bodies are on the left and the keyboards, monitors as well as
the mice are on the right? There is no room for the mouse movements --
either you start encroaching on the table of the person to the right of you
to accomodate your mouse, or you can swap your mouse to the left side
(Would be even worse If you are at the last workstation in a line since
there is no table to the right of you.)
I think this is a wrong plan as right-handed people are still the majority
(including me, of course). I don't mind if some of the workstations are
set up particularly for left-handed people but I think the number of
workstations set up as I mentioned is a little to high considering how many
DEC 133's we have here. So, could someone please tell me, 1) if the
workstations are set up like this intentionally? 2) Are you planning on
changing the left-handed workstations back to right-handed?
Thanks in advance,
Gilbert
