Reason:
We request a bldg 1-all fire alarm shutdown from 11 PM on Sunday evening, July 28th to 7 AM on Monday morning, July 29th, 2013 for JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059) to tie-in and test the XA campus loop (NOTE: MIT Fire tech will need to jack-out bldg 1 XA loop in bldg 5 for reworking the existing XA cable for new system) and will conduct a *brief live audible test of the bldg 1 fire alarm system between 3 AM and 7 AM* as part of the bldg 1 life-safety fire alarm upgrade project by Tishman Construction (Dennis Ryan 617-594-0664). Brian Healy 8-8565 is the MIT project manager -
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
