Hello, Hotline recieved a bug report on a problem with entering an
invalid password.
Action;
Login with a incorrect password.
Symptom;
Monitor does "quick/unreadable console message..go blank..
returns to Xlogin window".
Comment;
Console error may be "XLogin: child 13049 exited with 0 status"
I tried 2 machines in 16-034 and got identical results.

Hi,
I attempted to log into 2 different machines in the 16-034 cluster on
Sunday evening and had problems. First I attempted to log into M16-034-14
and although I entered the wrong password, the screen turned blue, and then
went back to the login prompt, _without_ first stating that I had entered the
incorrect password. I then attempted to log into M16-034-13, the screen turned
grey and after a few minutes, went back to the login prompt. I eventually
logged into M16-034-14 without incident.
I am sending this to you rather than software bugs since these
workstations were installed last week.
