Reason:
We require a bldgs W56 and W57 fire alarm communications loop shutdown from 6 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 for MIT Fire to tie-in fire alarm communications XA loop cable in the W16, W45 and W64 fire alarm jack-out boxes as part of the W64 Child Care Center building project by Triumph Modular (AJ Bergin 508-802-0725). Rich Quade is the MIT project manager.
The W56 and W57 fire alarm system will not report to the Operations Center during the shutdown but will work as a standalone system. MIT Fire will be nearby to monitor these grounds Dept buildings while the communications is out.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
