Reason:
We request bldg W31-all fire alarm shutdowns as follows: from 6 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, July 18th, 2013 for MacNichol Electric (Mike Bryson 781-760-7416)/Bennett Communications (Mark Popielski 617-799-2614) to tie-in and
program temporary heat detectors installed in W31-031 hobby shop; and from 6 AM to 7 AM on Friday, July 19th, 2013 to conduct a brief *live audible test of the bldg W31 fire alarm system* in order to test the heat detectors and the programming as part of the hobby shop renovation project by Acella Construction (Rich Philbrick 978-479-1896). Karen Rennell 978-758-8054 and Gerhard Sinani 4-1705 are the MIT project managers on behalf of Billy Homeyer.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
