The following fire alarm shutdown notification and *brief live audible testing request for Bldg. 32 - All, on Friday, July 5, 2013, 6:00am - 11:00am, with the *brief live audible testing to take place on Monday, July 8, 2013, between 5:00am- 6:00am, is for your information and response. Reason:
We request bldg 32-all fire alarm shutdowns as follows;
from 6 AM to 11 AM on Friday, July 5th to relocate a 9th floor Dreyfoos tel/data closet smoke detector and relocate conduit for a Dreyfus roof access door speaker/strobe near AH1;
and from 5 AM to 6 AM to on Monday, July 8 to conduct a brief *live audible test of the 32 fire alarm system*, by MIT Fire, in order to test these rewired devices
and as part of the 32 roof repair project by Consigli Construction (Carlin Grenier 508-509-2935), W Keith Diggans 4-6174 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *brief live audible testing on Monday.
