Reason:
We request bldg 46 normal bldg power shutdowns, 480V panel D42C1 located in 2148E from 4 AM to 12 noon on Tuesday, July 2nd for Suburban Electric (Don Ouellette 781-760-5422) to install 800A and 2A circuit breakers to serve the new MRI; and 480V panel D42C located in 2201u/m from 4 AM to 6
AM on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 to change out a 20A circuit breaker (fed a Leibert unit) to a 60A breaker in order to serve the new 1150 MRI room chiller and as part of the 46-1150 MRI Lab renovation project by Wise Construction (Chris Luongo 781-389-5749). Sudy Nally 8-8010 is the MIT project manager.
Panel D42C1 feeds panel L42C, rodent mag lab transformer, rodent mag lab humidifier, panel D22C, panel D21C, panel L41C and the rodent lab magnet transformer.
Panel D42C feeds lab vacuum pumps, lab and control air compressors, an animal bedding vacuum system, VFDs for pumps 5 and 6, CAC Leibert units 1-4, motor control center 2C, panel P22C and FCU 5.
Effect:
Loss of normal building power, heating hot water, chilled water, supply cooling air, compressed control air, compressed lab air, and lab vacuum for the duration of the shutdown.
