The following Fire Alarm Shutdown (w/*live audible 1st/3rd party testing at 6AM) is for bldg 4 - 202 All, 6, 6C and 8 on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6:00am til 9:00am and then on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00am - 9:00am is for your information and approval. Reason:
We request bldgs 4, 6, 6C and 8 fire alarm shutdowns from 6 AM to 9 AM on Monday and Tuesday, July 1st and 2nd, 2013 for MacNichol Electric (Jesse Pothier 617-592-9427)/Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to tie-in, program and test the 4-202 ceiling mounted speaker/strobe and its associated silencing module. We will conduct *live audible 1st and 3rd party testing of the bldg 4, 6, 6C and 8 networked fire alarm system between 6 AM and 7:30 AM both mornings. Third party testing will be witnessed by JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059) and all as part of the bldg 4-1st/2nd floor VP suites renovation projects by Renovations Inc. (Jim Abbisso 617-594-7650). Nicole Pisani 5-5157 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
