Reason:
We request a bldg 13 fire alarm shutdown on Thursday, June 27th from 6 AM to 8 AM for MacNichol Electric, Simplex and Schneider Electric to replace defective 5104 toxic gas system battery charger hardware and modify the toxic gas alarm message and programming to signal general evacuation. We will conduct *live audible 1st/3rd party testing of the bldg 13 fire alarm system between 7 AM and 8 AM as part of the 5th floor Prof Allanore Lab renovation project by Barr and Barr Builders (John Bidgood 508-686-0870). Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
