Reason:
We request a bldg 38-all fire alarm shutdown from 6 AM to 9 AM on Wednesday, June 26th, 2013 for MacNichol Electric (Tom Durant 978-930-6001) and Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to tie-in and program temporary 5th floor heat detectors (prior to sprinkler demo). We will conduct a very brief *live audible test of the bldg 38 fire alarm system* sometime between 7:30 and 9 AM as part of the bldg 38-5th floor CyPress Eng Design Studio renovation project by Acella Construction (Marcilio Silva 781-733-1248). Nicole Pisani 5-5157 and Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 are the MIT project managers.
The brief *live test* will be announced over the fire alarm speakers as a test.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
