The drive on a Maxine appears to be eating disks. The machine is
under Athena Service, serial number AB23100LSS. Here is a report from a user:

Subject: Lockpick's 3.5" drive

I fear that the floppy drive on Lockpick is physically damaging disks.
I performed the following test:

I formatted a disk on Fish (my machine). I then reformatted the disk.
It was clean, no errors.

I filled the disk full of 'stuff' on Fish and verified. No errors.

I erased the disk on Fish and put it in Lockpick. I filled the disk
on Lockpick.

I then tried to read the files on Fish. 'General failure' error after
reading the first two files.

I reformatted the disk on Fish. It reported 92?? bytes in bad sectors
upon format.

The test held true for three disks. Torque is not having the same
difficulties.
