RESCHEDULED: Dear all, this bldg 2-480V normal power panel MDP shutdown h=
as been rescheduled to Tuesday evening, June 25th until 6 AM on Wednesday m=
orning, June 26th. This coincides with the rescheduled 6-EF1A-D fume hood e=
xhaust fans shutdown which this panel feeds. The other major effect of this=
panel shutdown is that the bldg 2-bsmt laser labs reheat system will lose =
power through panel MP422 also being fed from panel MDP.
Both the shutdown form and work order 5193114 have been modified to reflect=
this change, Billy H. 8-0432
We request a bldg 2-217E 480V distribution panel MDP normal bldg power shut=
down from 6 PM on Thursday evening, June 20th to 6 AM on Friday morning, Ju=
ne 21st, 2013 for Bennett Electric (John Shaw 617-293-4806) to install a 22=
5A circuit breaker for future new rooftop air handling units and to refeed =
the 2-PH power panel MP4PH1 (conduit relocation) as part of the 2 Chemistry=
renovation project by Bond Brothers (Jesse Conklin 617-938-4175). Marty De=
luga 4-5081 and Joe Collins 3-3621 are the MIT project managers.
Panel MDP feeds the 2 penthouse panel MP4PH1 which in turn feeds EF1A, 1B, =
1C and 1D (bldg 6 lab fume hood exhaust fans shutdowns requested on another=
shutdown request for the same time frame), some roof lighting and a Schnei=
der CX panel.
MDP also feeds 2-012 power panel MP422 which in turn feeds the heating hot =
water system (reheats), the bldg 2 lab waste transfer system and a local me=
chanical room exhaust fan.
Effect: Loss building power,heating hot water, supply heating, laboratory,=
lab waste, exhaust hood for the duration of this shutdown.
