Dear Colleagues,
Due to weather conditions, the construction activities for the new childcare facility on Vassar Street are now scheduled for Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16. The building modules will be moved from Albany Street down Mass Ave to Vassar Street. The hours of construction are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on both days. The work is expected to be completed on Sunday.
There will be no thru vehicular traffic on Vassar Street on Saturday or Sunday. Vehicles will be allowed down as far as the West Garage. Vehicles needing access farther down Vassar Street will be directed down Memorial Drive to Amesbury Street http://whereis.mit.edu/?go=W91
Pedestrian and bicycle traffic may travel on Vassar Street, but will be directed by police detail.
