Type: Normal
Date: June 11, 2013
Day: Tuesday
Time: 3:00AM - 7:00AM
Building(s): E25
Room(s): 6th fl. labs, 650B, 650C, office numbered above 631
System: normal building power, computers, telephones, lighting, corridor/stairs
Duration: 3:00AM - 7:00AM
Reason:
We request a bldg E25-6th floor west normal bldg power shutdown, 208V/120V distribution panel DP26A, from 3 AM to 7 AM on Tuesday morning, June 11th, 2013 for EG Sawyer to install a 150A circuit breaker in this panel and to install additional circuit breakers in P26A3 as part of the Prof McGee Lab cleanroom project by DC Beane (Ryan Kucinski 617-997-9498). Paul Murphy 4-6163 and Biss Teelucksingh 2-5972 are the MIT project managers.

DP26A feeds panels P26A1, A2 and A3. All 120V/208V normal lab power from Prof Ono's lab area to the freight elevator will be affected. The hoods in these areas will remain active but will not have power or lighting in them. West offices 633 up to 653 should also prepare for this power outage. The walk in constant temperature boxes will not be affected as they are on emergency power.

Effect:
Loss of normal building power for the duration of this shutdown.
