Dear Colleagues,

Please be aware that on this Sunday, June 2 beginning at 10:00 AM a Finish Line 5K race will be held on campus. The race starts and ends outside the Stratton Student Center. The course runs from Mass Ave down Amherst Alley to Vassar Street and loops back to Mass Ave: http://web.mit.edu/facilities/5KRace_060213.pdf

Travel may be impacted especially along Amherst Alley. In addition, due to public safety concerns, no bikers, walkers, strollers, in-line skaters, scooters, or pets are allowed on the Run course.

The race was postponed from April when it was intended to cap off MIT's Get Fit campaign. More information about the event can be found here: http://getfit.mit.edu/5k

If you're on the sidelines, cheer the runners on!

Warm Regards,
Ruth
