**Dear all, I'd like to extend this bldg 13 fire alarm shutdown to include =
a brief *live audible 3rd party test of the bldg 13 fire alarm system betwe=
en 6 and 7 AM on Thursday, May 16th, 2013*. Due to an error in scheduling o=
n my part, JMBCo was not present for the May 3rd test. The 13-3064 toxic ga=
s system reports only a trouble condition to the 13 fire alarm system which=
we will test and then follow with a bldg wide *brief live test*, I apologi=
ze for any inconvenience, Billy H. 8-0432
As usual the 1st floor lab HVAC will be in bypass during the testing. **
We request bldg 13-all fire alarm shutdowns at 6 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, M=
ay 2nd, 2013 and Friday, May 3rd, 2013 for MacNichol Electric (Tom Durant 9=
78-930-6001), Simplex (Bob Gauvin 781-603-7765) and JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 6=
17-212-2059) to tie-in, program and test the bldg 13-3064 toxic gas system =
that is being tied into the MIT fire alarm system. We will conduct a *brie=
f live audible testing on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 between 8 AM - 9 AM of the =
bldg 13-fire alarm system* as part of the 13-3064 NFS Funded lab renovation=
project by Barr and Barr Builders (John Bidgood 508-686-0870). Biss Teelu=
cksingh is the MIT project manager 2-5972.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
