Have taken over for Young regarding an A/C (low temp) problem in the E40-008
machine room. I have met P.P. at the E40-008 door, disarmed area, and have
investigated the problem. The 2nd shift HVAC supervisor has also been
summoned to the scene. The machine room is like an ICE BOX. Both A/C units are
calling for heat, but heat is not taking place. It is a good possibility that
the power plant had beefed up the pressure due to the heat wave, which may
have caused this problem. However, a work order has been issued under
Warren Scott to rectify the problem. Work Order # 570861. I have touched
base with Kim, regarding this issue/status. The approx. alarm notification
was around 17:00.
