It happened again just a couple minutes ago. I dialed into
CANNELLONI, and connected to ATHENA-DEC. It put me on ALFREDO, and I
tried logging in. The first time, it rejected my password, so I tried
again. That time, my username was echoed as j-o-phi-epsilon, instead
of j-o-h-n. (No hyphens, of course.) And it responded, "Principle
unknown." After that, I waited for the system to time out, and then
disconnected and redialed in. Everything was fine then. The identical
thing happened two days ago, and I sent you a letter on it.
