Howdy.
Before I reported that the printer server for 'stowe',
E25-147-P.mit.edu, was down, and the result of doing 'lpq' was
'connection down' or some such phrase. This is in the private cluster
in E25-147/143 (same room).
Now the result of 'lpq' is different, but the printer still doesn't
work. I wanted to let you know in case someone got the server up and
thought everything was fine. It now says (from lpq):
E25-147-P.MIT.EDU... Warning: no daemon present
[stowe daemon 461 does not exist; restarting a new one....]
