The following *extended fire alarm shutdown notification and *live audible testing request for Bldg. 9 - All, on Thursday, August 2, 2012, 6:00am - 9:00am, *to also include Friday, August 3, 2012, 6:00am - 9:00am, is for your information and response. Reason:
Reilly Electric (Rob Bedard 508-962-1804) will be sounding the new bldg 9 fire alarm system between 6 AM and 9 AM on Thursday morning, August 2nd in order to test. The system is currently standing alone and will not report to the MIT Operations Center. MIT Fire is not required but approval from bldg 9 is, thank you, Billy H. 8-0432
*Extended - Dear all, RELCO did not complete testing this morning and we'd like to know if we could continue testing tomorrow morning, Friday 8/3 from 6 AM to 9 AM as well, Billy H. 8-0432
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms and *live audible testing for the duration of the shutdown.
