Reason:
We request a bldg 48-all fire alarm shutdown from 6 AM to 9 AM on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012 for MacNichol Electric (Mike Bryson 781-760-7416) to relocate a 48-410 speaker/strobe to make-way for a new door frame as part of the Prof Polz lab renovation project by Elaine Construction (Bill Kelly 781-974-2195). We will conduct a brief *live audible test of the bldg 48 fire alarm system* when the speaker/strobe relocation is completed. Sudy Nally 8-8010 and Jennifer Combs are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *brief live audible testing near completion of the project.
