Reason:
We request bldg 66-AH2 shutdowns from 6 AM to 8 AM on Friday, August 3rdand from 5 PM on Friday evening August 24th to 6 AM on Monday morning, August 27th for Ducts Inc. (Darren King 617-908 7370) to measure and subsequently replace two subbasement fire dampers allowing time for the duct sealant to cure and as part of the bldg 66-steam leak recovery project by Shawmut Construction (Doug Tower 617-622-7731). Bill Vitkosky 3-6517 is the MIT project manager.
Bldg 66-west side offices on floors 1 thru 5 will be affected.
Effect:
Loss of supply cooling air for the duration of the shutdown.
